ORGANIZATION
WHAT WENT RIGHT
- More vendors than last year.
WHAT WENT WRONG
- Unlike last year, all registration had to go through eFeis. No block of entries was held aside to accomodate those who wished register through the mail.

SCHEDULING
WHAT WENT RIGHT
- Same age group/same stage scheduling
- Steps danced in order (Reel, Jig, etc). Within each step, Advanced Beginners danced first, then Novice, then Open/Prizewinner. Where possible, the competitions were kept in the same order within each step.
- Adult Beginners were treated as Advanced Beginners for purposes of scheduling.
- Added more arts and crafts competitions
- Added music competitions
WHAT WENT WRONG
- Figures went first, which by long-standing policy on this site is a What Went Wrong.
- Music competitions were run the previous night. I score this as a What Went Wrong because I had to scratch music entries for both Rachel and myself due to Dayton's A World A'Fair.

FACILITIES
WHAT WENT RIGHT
- The stage layout in the Main Ballroom area seemed to allow rapid movement from one end to the other. Well, rapid as compared to a typical Midwest Feis...
- Designated camping areas in all the halls surrounding the ballrooms. They appeared to be well-used, too.
- The girl's dressing room was surprisingly well-placed in relation to the ballroom.
- A nice, roomy Results/Awards room
- There was actually some space outside of the Main Ballroom where you could practice your steps beforehand without injuring onlookers.
- They got a closer ballroom for the Championship stages this year. Much closer.
- Solo dress racks were in a much more accessible location this year.
- Multiple food vendors at various locations throughout the facility

OPERATIONS
WHAT WENT RIGHT
- We were done and walking to the parking garage before 4 PM -- which was good, because Devonna and I had a 5 PM call time at the Dayton Convention Center for the Adult class' show at A World A'Fair.
